South Bend - Janet Barbara Bulger, 85, passed away on Tuesday, September 29 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend.
Janet was born on June 12, 1921 in Chicago, IL to Walter John and Anna (Barbara) Perkow. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Claude Walters and a brother Walter George Perkow.
In May 1957 she married John Ralph Bulger who preceded her in death in 1972. Surviving Janet are her two sons, John Walter (Renee) Bulger of Mishawaka and James "Jim" Bulger of South Bend; four grandchildren, John Daniel Bulger, Aaron Michael Bulger, Alec James Bulger and Payge Nichole Bulger.
Janet was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary the AM Vets and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. She was a loving, and caring person.
There will be a private family service and burial.
