          Mishawaka-Michael John Lidgard, 46, passed away on Wednesday, January 2 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

          Michael was born on April 22, 1972 in Mishawaka to John and Carol (Wood) Lidgard. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol. On July 18, 2018 he married, Jill Sisk. Surviving are his wife, Jill; daughter, Cammi Lidgard; stepsons, Dominic and Conner Sisk; father, John Lidgard brothers, Marc Lidgard and Brent Lidgard; father-in-law, Steve York.

          Michael graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1990 and joined The Operators Union. He was a Crane Operator with Operators Union #150. He has been to Antarctica for work and saw the South Pole while there. He enjoyed launching model rockets and wood working in his garage making knives and furniture. He loved to fly and got his pilot’s license. He enjoyed being outside, walking the dog and running in the park. Michael was an avid learner, seeking out knowledge on any topic. Michael was a great dad and loved his family; he liked to play board games with his kids.

          Visitation for Michael will be on Monday, January 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Memorial service at 6 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
