Alidor Maurice Bonne

          NILES – Alidor M. Bonne, Age 84, of Niles, MI passed away Wed, Jan 30, 2019.

          Alidor was an Army veteran. He worked for Bowsers Sand and Gravel Company until he and his business partner started Al + Jim’s garage. He eventually took over the business renaming it Al’s truck service. He went on to become the business owner of several bars. His most memorable bars being Swingin Door and Diesel Tap.       In his retirement Alidor enjoyed watching and attending the NASCAR Races and hunting.

          He is survived by his two daughters, Debbie Simmons of Niles, and Susan Barthel of Picayune, MS, and three granddaughters, Jessica Simmons of Paw Paw, MI and Rachel and Bobbi Barthel of Picayune, MS.

          He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Bonne; parents, Author and Alice (Minnie) Bonne and grandson, Cory Simmons.

          Visitation is Tues, Feb 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka with Military Rites by VFW Post 360/American Legion 151 burial team.
