May 11, 1966 – August 24, 2024

            Anita Evans, born on May 11th, 1966, in Niles, MI, brought joy and creativity to the world for 58 years. She passed away peacefully on August 24th, 2024, in South Bend, IN, leaving behind a legacy of love and artistry. Daughter of David and Janice (Barnett) Evans, and sister to Nathan (Katie) Evans and Darin (Fenni) Evans and her nieces and nephews. 

            Anita's love of the Lord and her faith in Him were forefront in her life.  Anita gave much love and receive much love back from all those fortunate to meet her.  Anita dearly loved her family and friends and was dearly loved by them.  She had a passion for cross-stitch, card making, and various other crafty hobbies, shared her joy and inspired those around her to embrace their inner artists. Anita's love for making handcrafted treasures will be cherished by all who were fortunate to know her and receive the gifts of her talent. Her memory will be carried forward in every stitch and every card she lovingly created.

            Formal services will be held at Christ Chapel Church, 3402 Locust Rd, South Bend, IN 46614 South Bend, IN, October 5th at 4pm.  Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with making the final arrangements.
