Betty Maxine Treesh, 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Goshen Hospital.
Betty was born on July 4, 1935, in Wakarusa, IN as the daughter of Robert and Mabel (Detwiler) Kent.
Betty was a 1953 graduate of Wakarusa High School. On June 7, 1953, she married Arnold Ogle. She married Samuel Treesh, May 30, 1974.
Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She found solace in mowing grass and tending to her flowers and plants. She was talented seamstress and lovingly made clothing for her family for many years. Later in life, she went to work for Monaco Coach for many years.
Her presence was a gift to those who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel Treesh; her children, Pam (Mike) Hunsberger, Joe (Karen) Treesh, Diana (Danny) Davis, and step-daughter, Leesa (Kevin) Sturgis; grandchildren, Heather (Theodore) Stevens, Holly (Dan) Rhodes, Jim (Vanessa) Ogle, Taylor (Zac) Paxson, and Samantha (Jack) Han; great-grandchildren, Amelia, August, Oliver, and Ezra Stevens, Brooke and Ben Rhodes, and Wyatt Paxson; and her sister, Eleanor Rummel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Arnold Ogle, her daughter Michelle Treesh, and her son, James Ogle.
As we say goodbye, we celebrate the enduring impact of her love, laughter, and strength.
