            Billie Jean Strom, 94, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Mishawaka.

            Billie was born on March 24, 1930 in Mishawaka to Harold and Ruth Ann (Gustfhison) Vinson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

            On November 24, 1951 in Mishawaka, she married, Melvin Kenneth Strom, he preceded her in death on August 13, 2008.

            Surviving are a daughter, Lisa (Alan) Lichkay; sons, William (Carmen) Strom, Steven Strom and Matthew (Tami) Strom; and brothers, Charles “Skip” Vinson and Michael Vinson.

            Billie worked for the University of Notre Dame in the Housekeeping department until she retired. She was a long time faithful member of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mishawaka

            A private family service will take place at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
