Bonnie James, 89, of Mishawaka, died Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Sprenger Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mishawaka.
Bonnie was born April 29, 1932, in Plymouth, IN to the late Harlan and Pearl (Murray) Talbott. On December 23, 1950, Bonnie married Robert L. James in Rochester, IN. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2012.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Taylor of Mishawaka; one son, Robert (Kathleen) James Jr. of Medfield, MA; her brother, Larry Talbott of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Christopher) Denney, Nicholas Leffel, Alexandra James, and four great-grandchildren: Erik, Isaak, Nahdia, and Johnny.
Bonnie was employed by Miller Paint Supply for 21 years, retiring in 1988 as a bookkeeper for the company. She enjoyed growing up on a farm and later in life working in her garden with her flowers. Bonnie liked to bowl. She loved to meet up with her girlfriends and play cards as well as go to the casino.
Visitation for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, May 19th from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at the Hahn Funeral Home 505 W. 8th St. Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ferrisville Cemetery in Mishawaka.
