Obituary
Charles E. “Chuck” Lawhorn, 74, passed away at home in Mishawaka on Monday, August 7, 2023. Charles was born in West Virigina on April 9, 1949, to the late Coy and Eileen (Judd) Lawhorn. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald and Jeffrey Lawhorn. Charles is survived by his companion and love of his life, Josephine Finneran; children, Ryan E. Lawhorn and Stacy (Lawhorn) Greenawalt, 2 granddaughters, Emily and Brooklyn Chupp; and great grandson, Jaxon (Emily).
Charles proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era as a military police officer from 1971-1975. He loved traveling, the outdoors and being with his family. His most loved hobby was playing guitar and singing in bands that he was involved in throughout the Michiana area for many years. He spent his final years with his beloved Josephine (Josie) whom he loved and adored.
Per Charles’ wishes there will be no formal services. He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
