Cheryl K. Dygulski, 82, of Granger, Indiana, passed away on March 25, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1943, in Mishawaka, IN, to Americo and Gizella (Vargo) Lucchi.
Cheryl was a dedicated and talented hairdresser who proudly owned and operated her own salon called The Sagittarian for many years, forming lasting friendships with her clients and community.
She married Robert Dygulski on July 24, 1965, and they shared 48 years together before his passing on March 23, 2014.
Cheryl had a passion for creativity, and she loved painting with watercolors and creating unique, hand-painted designs on furniture. She also loved to entertain and graciously hosted many holiday dinners at the Ponderosa. She loved to travel and spent many happy hours on the golf course, embracing life with enthusiasm and warmth.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Michael (Tamar) DeGraff, Denise (Michael) Heyvaert, Deann Dygulski. She was a proud grandmother to Dylan (Melissa) Heyvaert, Lindsay Heyvaert, Sam Heyvaert, Jacob Hums, and Malchijah (Matthew) Boyd, and a loving great-grandmother to Jahdiel Boyd, and Abigail Heyvaert. She is also survived by her brothers, Tom Lucchi and John (Cathy) Lucchi.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Robert.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Caring Cottage and its caregivers, as well as everyone at the Center for Hospice, for the compassion and care they provided to Cheryl.
Cheryl will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the love she shared with her family and friends. She worked for many years at Macy’s in the cosmetics department.
A funeral service for Cheryl will take place at 3:30pm on Monday, March 30th, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. A visitation for Cheryl will be held immediately following the service until 5:30pm in the funeral home. A cremation is set to follow, and a private burial will take place at a later date.
