Cheryl Lichkai

Cheryl L. Lichkai, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025.

Cheryl was born on March 18, 1945, in Mishawaka, IN, to Maurice and Hope Dye.

She enjoyed a long and dedicated career with the Florida Department of Agriculture before she retired .

 Cheryl is survived by her siblings: Vicci Dye; Marshall Dye and his wife, Laurie; and Maurice Dye Jr.

Cheryl had a deep love for nature and animals. She especially enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, and watching them gather. Her caring heart extended to all creatures—birds, squirrels, and any critter that crossed her path. She shared a special bond with her beloved dogs, Frannie and Bernie, who brought her much joy and companionship.

In honor of Cheryl’s love for animals, memorial donations may be made to Pet Refuge.

Per Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Lichkai and Dye families.
