Christopher Donnelly

Christopher Michael Robert Donnelly, known affectionately as Chris, passed away at the age of 44, September 1, 2024.  Born on August 30, 1980, in Jackson, MI, to proud parents Michael Donnelly and Bonnie Sue (Lee), he was a cherished father, grandfather, and brother.

Chris, a distinguished Penn High School graduate, devotedly served his country in the Navy. Chris was in the Navy for 23 years before retiring.

Chris's passion for life was evident in his love for drift racing and working on cars. His adventurous spirit led him to seek excitement in outdoor expeditions, often going four-wheeling in the woods. Chris's zest for adventure and his unwavering love for his family will be treasured in memory forever.

 His joyful spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed by his Stepmom Cynthia Conway and his father Mike Donnelly, his beloved children, Emerald (Daniel) Anderson and Jordan Donnelly; his cherished grandchild, Michael Anderson; and his devoted sisters, Rayniece, Heather, and Jill Donnelly. Chris's life was a journey marked by courage, passion, and the unmistakable roar of engines under open skies. His legacy will live on as a token of the adventurous spirit that defined him.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 12, 2024, at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, 375 W Cleveland Rd, Granger, IN, at 12:00 PM. Full Military Honors will be conducted.
