Cindy L. (Creed) Lee

Our wonderful mother, Cindy L. Lee passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, with her loving family by her side. Cindy was born on June 28, 1949, in La Porte, IN, to Warren and LaVonne (Killian) Creed. On August 2, 1969, Cindy married the love of her life, David Lee, who preceded her in death on May 25, 2011.

Cindy known for her feistiness, yet good sense of humor for life, she was a perfectionist in every way imaginable. She enjoyed seeing others happy by always being there for them in their time of need. She truly missed her calling in life as an interior decorator as she enjoyed helping her children, family, friends, and her church decorate their homes. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas. Walking into her home was like walking into winter wonderland, everything was perfect and the gifts were wrapped so beautifully that you did not want to open them. Christmas was the one time of the year she had all her family together to celebrate Jesus Christ, our Lord, and the life that her and Dave built together. Her tireless devotion to family and friends will be greatly missed by everyone. Truly, she was an amazing woman.

Cindy is survived by her children, daughter, Shawn-Marie (Shane) Seward of Edwardsburg, MI; 3 sons, Adam Lee of South Bend, Christopher (Cindy) Lee of Oxford, GA and Ryan Lee of South Bend; 6 Grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Alex, Parker, Allison, Jackson; 2 great grandchildren, Avery and Penelope Waggoner-Strantz; her sisters, Darla Freestone, Dawn Shipton; and her brother Richard Creed.  

A memorial visitation will be held from 11am-1pm Monday, August 30, 2021, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street Mishawaka, IN with a funeral service to begin at 1pm. Cindy will be laid to rest next to Dave in Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend.
