Clarence L. Jester

Clarence L. Jester, aged 94, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2025, at home in Mishawaka. Clarence was born on November 11, 1930, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late LaVoyne and Hattie (Boyer) Jester.
On November 15, 1952, he married the former Sharon Tucker, and together they shared 73 loving years of marriage. Clarence was a devoted father to his sons, Timothy and Mark E. Jester.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Mark Jester; his nephews, Clarence and Andy as well as his nieces, Christine, Pamela, and Kelly.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, LaVoyne and Hattie; his beloved son, Timothy; his sisters, Joyce Church, Betty Smith and Mary Jane Larrison and his brothers, James Jester and Robert Jester.
Clarence proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He later worked as a cement mason for Ziolkowski Construction before retiring. He also built strong, lasting friendships through the Elkhart Moose Lodge #599, American Legion Post #161, and as a union cement mason.
Clarence’s life was a testament to service, community, and the strength of family bonds. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
