Clifford Huther

Clifford J. Huther, born October 3, 1935, in Evansville, Indiana, to Erwin P. Huther and Rose G. (Sauer) Huther, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025.

Clifford was born and raised in Evansville and graduated from the University of Evansville with a B.S. in Business. He proudly served in the Army Reserves from 1954 to 1962.

On November 17, 1962, he married the love of his life, Anita “Kat” Naas, and together they shared many wonderful years until her passing in 2010.

He is survived by his daughter, Ellen Jane Stanage; grandchildren, Shelby Whelan and Carson Stanage; and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anita, and his sister, Doris Moers.

Clifford was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed collecting country music and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th street, Mishawaka. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Rd, Mishawaka, with visitation 1 hour prior.

Memorial contributions can be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Honor of Clifford.
