Dale G. Cranmer, of Mishawaka, passed from this life to his eternal home in heaven on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was 67 years old.
He was born in South Bend, Indiana on June 7, 1957, a son of Dale F. Cranmer and the late Delores J. Cranmer (Tuttle) and he remained a lifelong resident of this community.
Dale was a graduate of Jackson High School and ACME Institute of Technology. Throughout his career he worked as a tool and die designer and various other vocations. Dale had a heart for ministry and had been actively involved in his local church. He was a gifted singer. As a young man he toured with a group, Sons of Faith, and as an adult, the River Valley Quartet. He had a passion for family which included boat rides, playing golf, rooting on the Chicago Cubs, and Notre Dame Football. If you knew Dale, he knew no stranger. Everyone was his neighbor.
Dale is survived by his father Dale F. Cranmer of Mishawaka, and his three children, Joshua (Mindy) Cranmer of Fort Wayne, Jamie Cranmer of Wausau, WI and Jason (Miranda) Cranmer of Watertown, NY. Sisters Kathleen (James) Yates of Spring, TX and Lisa Fry of Mishawaka. Grandchildren Dawson and Elias Cranmer, Tevin Kenton, and Coner and Landon Busby, Izabella, Grayson and Korrah Cranmer. A dear aunt, Barbara Muncie, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will take place Friday, March 14, 2025 , from 11:00AM – 1:00 PM, in Southgate Church, 3717 S Michigan St, South Bend, IN 46614. Service will begin at 1:00 PM, in the Southgate Church. Burial will follow after service, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 23449 Edison Rd, South Bend.
