Danny Cook

Mishawaka, IN-Danny E. Cook, 64, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in his home.  Danny was born on May 18, 1956, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Bill & Shirley (VanDusen) Cook.   Preceding Danny in death is a brother, Jere Cook.  Surviving Danny are his sisters, Lynette (Gary) Jones and LeAnn Cook; niece Amanda (Andy) Vetor; great-niece & nephew, Samantha and William Vetor; godchild, Christopher Woodruff; and special friends, Kevin Rusk and John Woodruff. 

Danny graduated from Mishawaka High School class of 1974.  Danny was an official umpire for over 30 years for the IHSAA & ASA.  He was awarded Umpire of the Year in 1998 and officiated in the State Finals 1995-1998.  Danny also was a mechanic at Hammes, was a Fed-Ex contractor, Pepsi installer, a transportation specialist for Le Sea/ESPN and an athletics driver for Ancilla College.

The family would like to thank Comfort 1 Hospice for the care they provided.

No services at this time.  A Celebration of Life will be held this summer.
