Dawn Michelle Smith

Dawn Michelle Smith, aged 49, born on December 2, 1974, in Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away surrounded by loved ones July 23, 2024, in Elkhart, Indiana. Dawn was the beloved daughter of Daniel D. Guerra and Isabell (Runyan) Guerra, a nurturing mother to her sons, Zachary, Derek, and Isaac.

            Dawn married her loving husband, Joey A. Smith on October 11, 2016. Together, they created a life filled with love and cherished moments.

            Dawn leaves behind her loving husband Joey Smith, her parents Daniel and Isabell, her children, Zachary Guerra, Zackery (Gabby) Smith, Derek (Kayla) Smith and Isaac Smith, her adoring grandchildren, Caroline, Alexander, and Lincoln, her nephew, Skyler Guerra, as well as her brother Bryon (Amy) Guerra.

            Dawn's unwavering commitment to her family and her generous spirit touched many. Her memory will remain a beacon of warmth and inspiration for all whose she met.  She will be remembered with immense love and enduring respect.

            Visitation will be on Friday July 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th Street, Mishawaka.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM following visitation in the funeral home.
