Deborah Jo Spainhower-Jackey

Deborah Jo Spainhower-Jackey, 70, passed away the evening of Friday, July 28, 2023, in Mishawaka, Indiana. She was born on November 5, 1952, in South Bend to the late Charles L. and Beverly J. (Roth) Spainhower. Deborah was also preceded in death by her three siblings, Cynthia L. Spainhower, Mickey Spainhower, and Timothy Spainhower. She is survived by her two sons, Tyler J. (Heather) Jackey of Osceola, IN and Philip M. Jackey of South Bend, IN; siblings Terry A. (Loretta) Fournier and Kathleen A. (Pete) Nowacki; and grandchildren Cole Jackey, Sophia Jackey, Tatum Jackey, and Rosie Jackey.

Deborah worked as a loan officer at TCU for many years. In her free time, she loved to read and garden and always had a beautiful yard. She was a loyal member of St. Mark’s Church and had a deep faith. Deborah loved being around people and made friends everywhere she went. She especially loved her grandkids and enjoyed going to their games. Deborah was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544. Friends and family are welcome to visit 2 hours prior.
