Donald R. Pickett

Donald Ralph Pickett, 61, of Elkhart passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.  Don was born in Mishawaka, IN on August 19, 1961.  Surviving are his sons, Joe Pickett, Tom Pickett and Shawn Pickett; grandkids, Joe, Sam, Tom, Arianna, Shawn and Grayson; mother and stepfather, Elaine and Joe White; brothers, Randy Pickett and William White; and his former wife, Laurie Pickett Scofield. 

Don was an ironworker and a master welder.  He was known to be a workaholic and proud of the work he did.  Don loved riding his Harley and going to theme parks.  He also enjoyed grilling out as he considered himself a “grill master”. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 12 pm-2 pm at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka with the funeral service to begin at 2 pm.  Don will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend, IN.
