Elaine L. White

     Elaine Louise White, 82, of Mishawaka, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 4, 1943, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to Carl and Gertrude Liggett.

     On January 12, 1974, Elaine married her best friend and loving partner, Joe L. White. Joe not only became Elaine’s devoted husband but also a caring and supportive father to her two sons, Randy Pickett and the late Donald Pickett. Together, Elaine and Joe welcomed one more child into their family, their beloved son William Carl White.

     Elaine dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. She found joy in creating a warm and welcoming home, and her love was felt deeply by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Joe, sons Randy and William, nine grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her sister Carol Magaldi.

     She was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Pickett, son Don, and her sister Susan Hummel.

     A visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hahn Funeral Home, with funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM, in the funeral home. Bishop Robert L. Geans, Sr. will officiate. Burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in Osceola.
