Eugene "Skipper" F. Yoder

Eugene “Skipper” Francis Yoder Jr., 45, of Mishawaka, passed away surrounded by his family on January 2, 2022. Skipper was born on August 3, 1976, in South Bend to Eugene Francis Yoder Sr. and Rebeeca Sue (Grenert) Yoder. Skipper graduated from Penn High School in 1995. He went on to work in various fields throughout his life but enjoyed 13 years with Hacienda Mexican Restaurants. 

Skipper is survived by his parents, Eugene Sr. and Rebecca Yoder; sisters, Christine (Joseph Brown) Yoder, Lisa (Benny) Derocek and Amanda (Jason Donahue) Kinnear; seven nieces; 4 nephews; and two great aunts as well as many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Yoder, Eugene Yoder, James Grenert, and Rose Gernert; nephew, Benny Derocek; uncle, David Skalla; and cousins, Leslie Sappigton, Adam Grenert, and Zackary Grenert. 

A Celebration of Skipper’s Life will be held on January 22, 2022, from 3-6 pm at the American Legion, 122 Lincolnway East, Osceola.
