South Bend-Fern Ann Mark, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Memorial Hospital.
Fern was born on January 13, 1933 in South Bend to George and Daisy (Weber) Minzey. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Berndt and a granddaughter, Kerry Snelling.
On August 19, 1953 in South Bend she married Joseph T. Mark; he preceded her in death on June 4, 2004.
Surviving are her children, Kathy (Mark) Snelling of Mishawaka, Bonnie Mark of South Bend, Joseph (Wanda) Mark of Atlanta, GA and James (Crystal) Mark of Edwardsburg, MI; seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Rebekah) Mark, Stacy (Rockie) Fisk, Jamie Singleton, Nicole Mark, Brittany (Steve) Nowak, Kayla (Tyler) Tubbs and Aaron (Kearra) Ratkowicz; nine great grandchildren, Mallory, Gracie, Hailey, Andy, Adriana, Brandon, Kelsie, Mason and Emma; sisters, Dorothy (Elden) Bice, and Genie (Jim) Beehler both of Mishawaka.
Fern was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a member of the Mishawaka North Kingdom Hall; a 1951 Mishawaka High School Graduate; she loved watching pro basketball, especially the Chicago Bulls, but most of all she enjoyed  camping and spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3 p.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2431 Filbert Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2431 Filbert Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
