To our Friend, Father, and Grandpa, Gary Leslie,

You left all of us last week wishing we had just a little more time with you. You were insightful. You were funny. You were kind.

You were born on December 4, 1938, in Mishawaka, IN, to the late Harold and Margaret (Gregory) Leslie.  You married the late Paula Quaintance. 

Easily befriended, your laugh was infectious, and strangers soon became friends.  No one worked harder than you Gary, and the number of people you have willingly helped along the way is beyond count.  There wasn't anything that you couldn't fix with perseverance and duct tape.  An avid fisherman and one of the last true outdoorsmen, there are few that rivaled your appreciation for the beauty of the Earth.  For you Gary, there was always another adventure, just around the bend.

We will all miss your quiet strength, and your easy smile. Thank you, Gary, for being an irreplaceable Dad, a loving Grandfather, and an amazing Human Being.

Visitation for Gary will be on Friday August 20th from 1-5 pm at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka with services immediately following at 5 pm.  Gary will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN at a later date.
