Guillermo Mendez

Guillermo Mendez, 37, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, in Plantation, FL.  He was born in Caracas, Venezuela on April 3, 1983, to Oscer and Miriman (Trejo) Mendez.  On January 16, 2013, Guillermo married the former Renee Goode who survives.  Also surviving are his stepchildren, Breanna and Kylie Parcher; and a brother, Mario Mendez. 

Guillermo was the former owner of Mango Café in South Bend.  After moving to Florida he became a chef at Cheddars.  He had a passion for cooking as well as for soccer.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held 12:00 pm-3:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.  Service will be at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
