James Hargrave Brooks

     James Hargrave Brooks, born July 15, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
He was the beloved son of Jack Brooks and Gladys (Gardner) Brooks.

     James built a life grounded in hard work, loyalty, and devotion to family. He spent his career in the automotive industry, serving for many years as a body shop manager, where he was known for his steady leadership, strong work ethic, and willingness to help anyone who needed a hand.

     He is survived by his loving Partner, Karen Pletcher, his daughter Julie Leggiere, and his three  grandsons.

     In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal service held at this time. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Brooks and Pletcher family.
