Jamie Swift

     Jamie Swift, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and respected community member, passed away at the age of 63 on September 28, 2024, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Born in South Bend on August 12, 1961, to Charles Swift and Yvonne Smith, Jamie led a life marked by devotion to his family and unwavering work ethic.

     In 1986, Jamie married the love of his life, Donna Vaughn in Mishawaka, Indiana. Together they raised two daughters, Heather (Jeremiah) Freitag and Kourtney Swift. Jamie was a beacon of love and guidance to his grandchildren Avah, Bailiey, Miguel, Naiarah, Felix, Sidney, and Daniel. Jamie will be lovingly remembered by his siblings; Laurie Drury, Carrie Swift, Tammy Swift and John (Brenda) Swift, Jamie was known for his generosity and kindness.

     Jamie was preceded in death by his loving wife Donna, his grandson Carsten, and his sister Leslie Swift.

     As per Jamie’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with making the final arrangements.
