Jeffrey L Rinard

Jeffrey Lewis (Lewie) Rinard, 29, of South Bend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.  Lewie was born in South Bend on July 2, 1992, to Jeffrey & Maureen (Hatfield) Rinard.  He is survived by his parents; children, Addison and Javier Rinard; the mother of his children, Kansas Stewart of Richfield, UT; brother, Robert Rinard of St. George, UT; sister, Lauren Rinard of South Bend.

Lewie attended Marian and Penn High Schools in Indiana and graduated from Prescott High School in Prescott, Arizona. After playing college baseball for two years, he began working on golf courses in Arizona, Nevada and Utah. In 2021, Lewie moved back to South Bend to work as the assistant superintendent grounds keeper at Juday Creek Golf Course.  A job he thoroughly enjoyed.

He was very passionate in nature, and that extended to baseball, the Chicago Cubs, his career in golf and the love he had for his family. Lewie loved taking his family to baseball games and teaching his kids sports. He was the biggest supporter and fan of those he loved. He loved being a dad and he adored his children. Lewie always did his best to make people smile and laugh.
