John N. Boult, 70, of Mishawaka passed away on May 31, 2022, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. John was born in Detroit, MI on October 25, 1951, to the late John and Elaine (Londes) Boult. On December 1, 1979, he married Gale Slavcheff who survives. Also surviving are his children, Rachael (Tim) Zentz and Matthew Boult both of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Nicholas and Sophia Zentz and Gianna Boult; a sister, Sandra (David) King; loving in-laws as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
John proudly served in the United States Navy. He was the owner of Coney Express in Mishawaka since 1984. He also worked at St. Joseph County Public Library from 2004-2022. John was the hardest working man who was so loved by his customers at the Coney Express and visitors at the library. John’s grandkids were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 11 am-3 pm on Tuesday, June 7th at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, June 7th in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill Street, Mishawaka with Father Chris Lapp officiating. John will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Mishawaka where military rites will be rendered.
