John Bodey Obituary

John C. Bodey, 74, of Osceola, IN passed away in his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. John was born in Dayton, OH on August 21, 1948, to Ainsworth and Eleanor (Snyder) Bodey. On December 10, 1971, he married the former Karen Chappie who survives. Also surviving are his children, Lisa Bodey (Brett Buchanan) and John Michael Bodey (Monica Wiltshire) and 2 grandchildren, Finn and Ferris. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Bodey.

John graduated from Fairview HS and the University of Cincinnati where he was a Pi Kappa Alpha. He worked at The Neff Company for 38 years. He loved fishing, camping, playing softball, basketball, tennis and golf and was an amazing husband, father and friend. The family invites you to John’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 1-5PM at their home.
