John B. Heintzberger

Elkhart, IN-John B. Heintzberger, 57, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.  John was born on October 6, 1963, to the late Charles and Dorothy (Gooley) Heintzberger.  John is also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Heintzberger.  In February of 2000, John married Marilee who survives.  Also surviving John is his daughter, Eve; brother, Mike Heintzberger; sister, Patricia Wilson. 

John loved spending time with his daughter, Eve.  His favorite pastime was being involved in Eve’s Equestrian activities and was so proud of her many awards.  He enjoyed taking pictures of Eve’s horse shows, family events and making up family calendars for Christmas each year.  John enjoyed being up at the lake with his brother where they enjoyed many pontoon excursions. 

The family will receive friends 2:00 pm-5:00 pm, Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka.  Rosary will be recited at 2:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Monday, January 18, 2021, at St. Monica Catholic Church in Mishawaka with visitation 1 hour prior at the church.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.   

Due to current public health and safety standards for COVID-19, social distancing will be enforced and masks required.
