Obituary
Joyce M. Sowers, 82, of Mishawaka passed away in her home on Monday, July 31, 2023. Joyce was born in Effingham, IL on June 4, 1941, to Ralph and Oneta (Thoele) Causey Sr. Joyce is survived by her husband, Randy Sowers; daughters, Donna (Mark) Marshall-Davis, Diana (Peter) Cook and Julie (Jason) Helferich; sons, Larry Marshall, Kerry (Gayle) Marshall, Kevin (Sherilyn) Marshall, Mark (Jackie) Marshall, Todd Marshall and Scott Marshall; sisters, Shirley (Tom) Densimore, Sandra (Dwight) Laidig and Marilyn (Gary) Derbin; and a brother, Ralph Causey Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Christina “Tina” Blackburn and Susan Marshall; and sister, Ethlyn Johnson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 2 pm -5 pm at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral Service will be held at 10 am on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Cramer officiating. Joyce will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
