Judith Benjamin

     Judi Kay Benjamin, 78, of Mishawaka, passed away on Sunday October 19, 2025, in Legacy House of Avondale, in Avondale AZ.

     Judi was born on April 6, 1947, in Mishawaka, IN as the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (De Cloedt) Canarecci.  On February 24, 1968, in St. Bavo Catholic Church Mishawaka as Judi Canarecci she married Darroll “Dean” Bejamin they spent Fifty-six years together before Dean’s death on May 28, 2024.

     Judi was a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Secretary at Memorial Hospital, South Bend before her retirement

     Judi’s legacy is carried on by her loving family, which includes daughters, Jill Ridenour, Tracy (Dean) Schmidt, Darroll’s daughter Dina Williams, and her son, Ryan (Jessica) Benjamin. She was a doting grandmother to Jordan, Tyler, Karson, Anthony, Jack, Alexandria, Grace, Tinsley, Aleah, and Alexia; and to her great granddaughter Alexandria, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Judi is also survived by her sister Carol Ann, her brother Frank (Christine) Canarecci.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Dorothy, her husband Dean, and her brother John Canarecci.

     Visitation will be on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home 505 W. 8th Street Mishawaka. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 27th , at 10:00 Am , in the funeral home with burial to follow, next to Dean in Fairview Cemetery Mishawaka
