Judith Carol Jansen Smith, 73, of South Bend, passed away on November 10, 2023. Judith was born to the late Carl A. and Elizabeth “Betty” Gaut (Sailor) Zillman in Mishawaka, IN, on December 7, 1949. Judith spent her life in the Michiana area and worked as a waitress at various restaurants over the years.

Judith is survived by her husband, Graham “Pete” Smith; son, Jodey Jansen; stepdaughter, Andi Smith; grandchildren, Grant and Allyson Jansen and brother, Philip (Laura) Zillman. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Denise Jansen and siblings, Cheryl Zillman and Paul Zillman.

Judith will be laid to rest next her daughter Denise in a private service at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
