Judith A. Long

Judith Ann Long, 81, of Greenville, SC passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021. Judith was born in Mishawaka, IN on December 19, 1939, to the late Maurice and Anna (Van Ooteghem) Coppens. On August 5, 1977, Judith married John Long who survives. Also surviving are her children, Garrett (Dawn) Allison, Lisa Allison, Andrew (Kate) Long; grandchildren, Hailey (Cody) Shively, Sarah (Kylan) McCullough, Brianna (Garry) McIntosh, Jessica (Allen) Martin, Tony, Keegan, Tristan & Tatum Carrasco; great grandchildren, Garrett (Dawn) Allison, Allison Shively and Cody Shively Jr. Judith is preceded in death by her sisters , Mary Rose Portolese, Marlene Gozstola, Margie Bradley; twin sister, JoAnn Stealy; brothers, Richard Coppens, John Coppens and David Coppens.

Judy was a devoted friend to all she met, devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending some time each summer in Mishawaka visiting family, friends, and the Legion girls, all of whom liked a trip to the casino. She also liked to travel, visit friends in Charleston, was a classy dresser, an avid true crime reader and never missed watching a LaBron James basketball game. She will be truly missed.

Visitation will be 10 am-12 pm on Thursday, September 9th at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka.  Judith will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
