Karen Parker Obituary

     Karen K. Parker age 78, of Osceola, Indiana passed away peacefully on July 26,2025 in Goshen Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born July 30,1946 in Mishawaka to the late Millard (Bub) Weisweaver and Dorothy (Krivinik) Weisweaver Bennett.

     Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In August 1963 she married and made a life with the love of her life Carl (Butch) Parker until his passing in 2003. Together they had many adventures and enjoyed many memories with friends and family. Moving to Florida several times she lived in Sebring, and Holiday and visiting many other parts of the sunshine state but always found her way back home to Indiana.

     Karen was a graduate of South Bend Central. Her love and talent for cooking led her to working in restaurants as well as catering which she truly loved.

     Karen is survived by her children Todd (Pugsy) Parker and Peggy West and her former son in law Rob Lindsey and her most cherished grandchildren Jennifer and Robert Lindsey and Adam Christopher Parker. Also surviving are her Niece Cher Moore and her cousins Linda Filley, Terri Helpingstine and Traci Coleman. Her brothers in law James Parker and Kenneth (Kathy) Parker all of Florida as well as many nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents and siblings Bobby, Steven, Michael, Nancy, and Toni Rayl.

     Karen will be remembered for her cooking especially her chocolate cake, her sense of humor and most of all her love for her family.

     Karen accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and left this world in peace with the promise she would live out eternity in his presence.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to her family.
