Katterine Peebles

     Katterine "Katt" Peebles (born Dawn Lynnette), 55, of Mishawaka died in her home on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.  Born in South Bend on July 4,1969 to Mary Beth Fleming (Lindzy) and Donnie L. Peebles, Katt was an amazingly complicated woman. Whip smart and beautiful to boot, she had an energy that drew people from all walks of life into her orbit. Despite a troubled life, Katt found community and connection through Our Lady of the Road and St. Margaret’s House, for which her family is eternally grateful.

     She is survived by her daughters Lindzy and Kirin, as well as her mother, three sisters, one brother, and oodles of nieces and nephews.

     Family and friends are invited to Our Lady of the Road on Wednesday, October 16th from 6-7 p.m. where a small remembrance of Katt’s life will take place. In true Katt style, attendees are encouraged to wear their most comfortable jeans and favorite band shirt, if possible.
