Kenneth Albin Stack, born in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Albin and Rita (Zahora) Stack, tragically passed away at the age of 59 in Notre Dame, Indiana.
Ken married Tammy (Dugdale) Stack, and together they raised three beautiful children—Zachary, Madelyn, and Conner. He loved his wife and children with a devotion so deep that they were truly the center of his world.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and went on to build a successful career, serving as President of ZMX Transportation. Ken was known for his strong faith, his passion for coaching youth sports, and his unwavering dedication to his family, work, and friends.
He is survived by his wife; his children; his siblings Nancy (Dan) Carlin, Joe (Amy) Stack, Albin Stack, and Diana (Jimmy) Darnell; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Ken was the cherished son-in-law of Nancy Dugdale and the late Richard Dugdale.
Ken will be remembered for his generosity, his humor, and the deep love he held for his family and friends. His family is grateful for the many prayers, visits, and acts of kindness shown during this difficult time.
Visitation will be on December 17, 2025, from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM, at Brother Rice High School, 10001 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL 60655 with a Mass to celebrate Ken’s life at 7:00 PM. A separate celebration of life will also be planned for a future date.
Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Stack family.
