Kevin Grubbs Sr.

     It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Grubbs, age 68, who left us peacefully on January 18. Born on February 21, 1957, in South Bend, Indiana, he was the beloved son of William “Bill” and Brenda Grubbs.

     Kevin married Vickie Moore in 2003, and together they shared many years of companionship and love. He leaves behind his loving wife, Vickie Grubbs; his children, Kevin Jr. (Samantha) Grubbs, William “Will” (Amanda) Grubbs, and Eric Hazen; and his grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, Ethan, Madalynn, and Max. In addition, he is survived by his mother, Brenda Grubbs, and his brothers, Russell (Mary) Grubbs and Keith (Tina) Grubbs. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Grubbs, and his sister, Debra “Debby” Stachowski.

     Kevin had a profound love for the outdoors. He found joy in deer hunting, fishing, and simply spending time in nature, activities that brought him peace and happiness throughout his life. For 35 years, he dedicated himself to his work as a journeyman in machine repair at AM General.

     A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026,  from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th Street, Mishawaka. There will be no formal service held at this time. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends its deepest sympathies to the Grubbs family.
