Kimberly K. Phend

Kimberly K. Phend, 53 years young of Mishawaka, passed away peacefully on Jan 13, 2023, at the Ernestine M. Raclin House. Kim was born on August 15, 1969, in South Bend, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Patric E. Phend and her mother, Sharon J. Willey. Kim is survived by her four siblings, Jeffrey Phend of Mishawaka, Lisa Burzloff of Mishawaka, Scott Phend of Mishawaka, and Tracy Phend of Edwardsburg. She also is survived by her six nieces, and four nephews, and many extended family members.

Kim grew up in Osceola, Indiana and graduated from Penn High School in 1987. She worked for Community Business Equipment in Nappanee as the store manager for 17 years. Kim loved and was devoted to her job, customers, and coworkers many of whom became her friends.

Kim was an avid Notre Dame football fan. She loved all things giraffes. She enjoyed NASCAR, going to local racetracks, karaoke, and shopping. She also loved traveling and spending time with her family and many friends. More than anything she cherished her time spent with Aislinn, Lincoln and Enslie. Kim was a very outgoing, dependable, and loving person who will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Kim's memory at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
