Laurie Freeman

   Laurie A. Freeman was born on April 24, 1968, in South Bend, Indiana, to Melvin L. and Pinkie L. Freeman. She grew up in South Bend, where she spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends.

   Laurie pursued higher education at Purdue University and Ivy Tech Community College, earning an Associate of Science degree. She went on to build a dedicated career working for AM General, where she worked for over 20 years.

   She is survived by her siblings: Rodney Freeman, Lisa Freeman, Geoffrey Freeman, and Loretta Freeman.

   Laurie was preceded in death by her father Melvin, and her siblings Richard Freeman and Robin Freeman.

   Laurie will be remembered by those who knew her for her wittiness, and her crocheting. Her memory will remain in the hearts of all who loved her.

   A visitation for Lauri will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 w 8th street Mishawaka, In. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to the Freeman family.
