Laurie Ann Goerke

     Laurie Ann Goerke, age 63, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025. Born on October 23, 1961, in Lafayette, IN, Laurie was the beloved daughter of the late Arlan and Phyllis (Hassett) Banes.

     On April 27, 1984, Laurie married the love of her life and best friend, Robert J. Goerke. Together they built a life centered around family, and friends. One of Laurie’s greatest joys was raising their three children, Kelli, Heather, and Clark. She poured her heart into motherhood, creating a home full of love.

     Laurie is survived by her husband, Robert, her cherished children: Kelli (Nic) Beery and Heather (Scott) Doering. Her son Clark preceded her in death, and his memory remained close to her heart always. Laurie was a proud and loving grandmother to six grandchildren: Landon, Corbin, Jackson, Colton, Bentley, and Cambri.

     She is also survived by her loving siblings, Leanne (Sean) Kelly and John (Shelly) Banes, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

     Laurie dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a registered nurse. Her compassion, strength, and gentle spirit left an enduring impact on the many lives she touched throughout her career.

     Laurie will be remembered by her family and friends, for her selfless dedication to helping others. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

     A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th. Street, Mishawaka.

     The Family request that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Meow Mission.
