Lawrence F Garreffa

Lawrence F. Garreffa, 77, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021.  Lawrence was born in Detroit, MI, on February 16, 1944, to the late Bruno & Rose (Bellomo) Garreffa.  On July 18, 1998, he married the former Ardith Fransen whom he loved dearly.  Surviving is his wife, Ardith; his brother, Michael Garreffa and many cousins. 

Lawrence attended Murray State, graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and from Wayne State University in Detroit with a masters and PHD in Behavioral Psychology.  He went on to be a caregiver with Mosaic.

Larry was a very kind and loving man.  He loved reading and could always be found with a book in his hand.  He loved to learn, always taking different classes to learn new things.  He will be sorely misse.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.
