Ms. Coyner, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in her home from natural causes. Linda was born in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Norman J. Coyner and Mary Lou (Murphy) Coyner.
In Linda’s younger years, she loved her muscle cars and concerts. She also participated in the Burcliff Bowling League and was always up for a good game of racquetball or tennis on the weekends. She was always an avid reader with a love of literature and knowledge. In private, she had written and published a few children’s books of her own. Being a Bibliophile even led her to work for Better World Books later in life. She enjoyed various kinds of music and movies throughout her life. Focusing on 80’s and 90’s genres the most. Her great love of animals was heartfelt and vast. She gave the best and most thoughtful gifts to those she cherished. She was a very unique and private individual and her light will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her siblings, David (Trudy Cox) Coyner, Laura (Philip) Zillman, Marcy (Gerardo) Garcia, as well as her many other nieces and nephews. Her very dear friend Pam (Jim) Ryan was more than just a friend to her, but also to her immediate family as well.
As per Linda's wishes there will be no formal services at this time. Hahn Funeral Home, of Mishawaka, has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements. If you wish to leave a contribution in memory of Linda, you can donate to The Humane Society of St Joseph County or The American Cancer Society.
