Linda Roberson Obituary

Linda K. Roberson entered peacefully into eternal life on December 18th at Storypoint Senior Living, Granger, IN, where she had resided since January 2023.

Linda was born August 6, 1940 in Wahoo, Nebraska to Reynold and Josephine (Smith) Krajicek. She attended Wahoo High School where she was crowned "Princess Thunderbird." She spent the hot Nebraska summers working as a lifeguard at the public pool.

On January 17, 1962, as Linda Kathleen Krajicek, she married her high school sweetheart Gary Roberson, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo, Nebraska. They lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for a few years before settling in Northern Indiana and together raised 4 children. Linda worked in accounting at Mossberg & Co., South Bend, Indiana, before retiring in 1994.

Linda, a woman of great spiritual faith, graciously and selflessly provided a warm and loving home for family and friends to gather for countless holidays and special occasions. She had a fun, kind, and joyful spirit and loved being a grandma. She especially enjoyed playing a good game of "hall ball" with the grandkids. The many wonderful and happy memories she blessed us with will live on and she will be greatly missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gary, daughter-in-law Donna Roberson, and her parents.

Survivors include her children Jean of Mishawaka, Indiana; David of Bremen, Indiana; Jeff (Sherry) of Medford, Oregon;  Teresa (Scott) Dellinger of Hurricane, Utah; grandchildren, Ryan (Jaclyn) Roberson, Amanda (Ryan) Pitts, Zachary and Nathan Roberson, Amber (Ethan) Chambers, Sam (Stephanie) Roberson, Derek (August), Dustin (Carrie), and Damien (Victoria) Holderman; great-grandchildren, Violet, Mazie, Judith, George, Charles, Corbin, Colson, Braden, Haley, Emma, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Tyler, Jacob, Caleb, Carson, Collin and Kaydon.

Linda, the eldest of 5, is survived also by her siblings Carole Laster of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; James (Deb) Krajicek of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; Thomas Krajicek of Tulsa , Oklahoma; and William “Poochsnicker” (Jane) Krajicek of Omaha, Nebraska.

The family would like to thank the staff of Storypoint, Memory Care South for the excellent care and love they offered to Linda throughout her illness.
