Lucille Whetstone

            Lucille M. Whetstone, 93, of Mishawaka died peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at her residence. She was Born Lucille Mae Bischoff, in St. Joseph, Michigan in 1931. She moved to South Bend for School, and married Robert J. Coleman in 1955.

            Robert preceded her in death, but she is survived by their two children, Michael (Wendy) Coleman and Kathleen (Bob) Beason. In addition, there are 2 grandchildren, Shea (Cassandra) Colman, and Cari Coleman, 6 great grandchildren, as well as her brother David (Judy) Bischoff.

            Lucille Loved her decades long career as an elementary school teacher at PHM and traveled the world upon retiring. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, teaching Sunday school to all ages over the years. She was loved and will be dearly missed.

            A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements. 

            In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
