Marc Steven Michiels

Marc S. Michiels, 68, of Mishawaka, passed away on April 13, 2023. Marc was born to Maurice and Marcelyn (Roberts) Michiels on March 4, 1955, in Mishawaka. Marc worked as a siding installer prior to retiring. He was an animal lover, especially his three Alaskan Huskies but most of all the husky, Shanotchie.
Marc was preceded by his father, Maurice Michiels and his wife, Patrice Michiels.Marc is survived by his mother, Marcelyn Michiels; brother, Martin Michiels; cousins, Peggy (Carl) Boyd, Lisa Roberts, Ann Marie Roberts, Gary (Debbie) Roberts, Celia Dillon, Larry (Sue) Roberts; many extended family members, especially Michael, Rachael And Natalya Cantrell and step granddaughter Alexis Morgan. 
The family would like to thank Dr. Jason Marker and the nurses of Memorial Hospital South Bend for their outstanding care for Marc.
Per Marc’s wishes there will be no formal services. Cremation has taken place and Marc’s ashes will be laid to rest with his wife Pat in the North Pacific Ocean - Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness Area - a fjord near Juneau Alaska.
