A warm and gentle soul has left this world. Early in the morning of March 23, 2026, Marcia succumbed from the complications of a number of health issues that had befallen her.
She was born on February 21, 1954, in Mishawaka. Her parents, Rita and Ronald Esarey preceded her in death along with her daughters, Christine Marie and Michelle Kay.
Marcia was married to Steven A. Micinski on April 8, 1972, at St. Bavo Catholic Church in Mishawaka. He survives along with two sons, Daniel Eugene and Keith Steven (Angie) Micinski; granddaughters, Taylor, Jordan and Camryn Pontzious, Morgan (Kyle) Terreo, Madeline and Chloe Micinski; grandsons, Thurston and Riot Micinski; great grandsons, Jayden Baugner, Hudson and Stetson Terreo.
Marcia graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1972. She had worked in the service industry and as a secretary at times but was mostly the Matriarch of her family and an exemplary home maker and cook. Marcia was an extraordinary woman, who valued the presence of family and friends, and leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength that will continue to guide us. She had an ability to provide comforting words and steady support through the travails of this world. Marcia lived and fought the good fight.
Services for Marcia will be held at Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m., on Friday, April 10th , 2026. Services will be on Saturday, April 11th at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior in the Funeral Home.
