Marcia "Marty" Elsbury

Marcia Kay “Marty” Elsbury, 78, of Mishawaka passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  Marcia was born in South Bend on May 29, 1943, to the late Howard and Grace (Ammons) Scanlon.  She married Ronald W. Elsbury who preceded her in death in 1977.  Her son, Brian Elsbury preceded her in death on March 5, 2021.  She is survived by her grandson, Jacob Elsbury and a nephew, Shawn Severns.

   Marty worked for the School City of Mishawaka as a custodian at Beiger School for 16 years where many children knew her as Grandma Marty.  She also worked at the BK Club for many years.

   Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, October 2nd at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka.  Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.  Marty will be buried next to her husband Ron in Buchanan, Michigan.
