Marilyn "Lynn" Burke Obituary
Mishawaka, IN- Marilyn “Lynn” Roberta Robbins, 86, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, in Heritage Point. Marilyn was the 2nd child to Cecil Robbins and Tillie Henigsmith, born August 8, 1934.
Lynn graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1952.
On November 1, 1952, she married Norman L. Burke at Albright United Methodist Church in Mishawaka. The couple adopted two children, a son Mark and a daughter Kelly.
She was a dedicated housewife but worked various small jobs. In 1976, she became a secretary for the PHM School Corporation until her retirement in 1993. Afterward, she volunteered for 15 years at the Mishawaka Hospital. Lynn spent many winters with her husband, Norman, at Fort Myers Beach.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Tillie Robbins; brother, Everett Robbins; and her husband, Norman Burke.
Lynn is survived by her children, Mark Burke and Kelly (Kirby) Brownfield; grandchildren, Ryan DeLong and Brittany (Ryan) Zanotti; and great-grandchildren, Audree and Lily Zanotti.
There will be no visitation. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
