Marjorie Lynne Mester

MISHAWAKA - Marjorie Lynne Ludwig Mester went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on June 17, 1949, to Albert Russell and Agnes Jean Ludwig in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She served the community as an Officer of the Court in Elkhart County for 30 plus years. Marjorie enjoyed many travel adventures with her husband to Canada, Mexico, and Asia. She loved to swim and taught her daughters and grandchildren to swim all by the age two. Spring was her favorite time to garden around the house,  she loved to entertain family during any holiday or birthday, and she loved watching black and white movies on Turner Classic.

Marjorie is survived by her loving family; her husband David Mester;  her sister Donna Good; brother Albert Ludwig, Jr.; daughters, Noelle Warren (JD Lewis) and Heather Young (Jeff Sr.); Grandchildren Jeff Young, Jr., Austin Young, Lola Hettrich; and great-grandchildren, Norah Young & Owen David Young.

A Memorial service will be held at River Park United Methodist Church, 920 S. 23rd Street, South Bend on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1 o’clock. Hahn Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Marjorie’s honor to The Center of Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Pl, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
